I have forty-five years in ministry as an evangelist and pastor, twenty-six of those years were in evangelism.
I was born and raised in Southern Illinois as a deacon’s child. My mother and father were both very active in our local church.
I received my first miracle at the age of five when I was severely burned over 60 to 65% of my body with 1st and 2nd-degree burns. God miraculously healed me through prayer, and I have been a strong believer of miracles ever since.
I grew up singing in church and have always loved the music. I sang in two local quartets at an early age in music ministry.
I served four years in the United States Navy and feel very strongly about patriotism in this country. We are blessed by God to live in such a great nation founded on the word of God.
I answered the call to ministry in 1975 and was later ordained in 1977 through a non-denominational organization.
I worked in two Billy Grahams Crusades, along with my wife, in Indianapolis. We also worked as counselors in a David Wilkerson Crusade in Alexandria Indiana.
I worked thirty years for General Motors and retired from there in 1998. This opened the door for a full-time pastorate which was a surprise shift for me from the evangelistic field.
I have now been Lead Pastor at Greenville First Assembly for nineteen years and love the community. God has richly blessed the church and we have participated in many community projects. Our church is very evangelistic and family orientated.
I have a lovely wife, four children, nine grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. My wife’s support has been essential to the ministry and our relationship has blossomed because of the Love of Jesus.
I have been a member of the Greater Greenville Ministerial Association since 2002 and our church is a supporter of it.
I enjoy working with the other ministers and denominations. I feel we are all better together than standing alone. United in one Spirit, and one Lord, Jesus Christ our Redeemer.
